Come be a friend, come sing and laugh and learn. We would be happy to have you visit a rehearsal and join us as a member of the Chorus. Experience is NOT necessary -- all you need is a love of singing, and a willingness to learn and participate.
Rehearsals are held every Monday evening during the concert rehearsal season at the Cannon Beach Community Presbyterian Church from 6:30-8:30 pm. Music is provided, along with fun and support from your fellow-singers.
The Chorus rehearses for and performs three concert series per year:
- Spring Rehearsals January-March, Performance late March or early April
- Summer Rehearsals April-June, Performances late June or early July
- Winter Rehearsals September-December, Performances mid-December
Because the Cannon Beach Chorus is a non-profit organization, your dues, expenses, costumes, and even mileage to come to rehearsals and concerts are all tax deductible items. We charge each member $30 per concert series to be a member of the Chorus. This assists the Chorus in paying a stipend for our conductor and accompaniest each month, rental of the rehearsal space, sheet music, concert hall rental, and other miscellaneous expenses that are part and parcel of running our organization.
